LITTLE BIG ADVENTURE 2 PROCESSING PRO

Sometimes you have option (usually a different kind of controller, like the Pro controller on Switch), but not always. I mean, console games are generally designed around a singular controller, which is usually the only way to play the game. So many games are ported where the devs spent maybe 5 minutes on M&KB, which is frustrating but mostly just makes me a bit sad.

LITTLE BIG ADVENTURE 2 PROCESSING PC

It kinda just makes me sad when PC ports don't have at least passable PC control options. I can only assume it's the same for a console player who suddenly swaps over after only using a controller. I get, and absolutely agree, that some games are just better with X or Y control scheme.īut even when a game has suboptimal, or even frustratingly bad M&KB optimization, I still often find it easier and more comfortable than unlearning those 20 years by picking up a controller. I have a controller for my pc, I just prefer M&KB as that's what I've been using for the past 20 years. It's not so much loyalty (well just as much loyalty as console players have for controllers I guess) as just preference. I mean with that logic you could say the same about consoles and their controllers lol.

Sorry for the rant, I guess I needed to unload a bit.Įdit: just looked up a video and it takes about a full 60s after each level without any "skipping", which probably would take it down to maybe ~45s at best Its ridiculous, just let me actually play the game. Then it has to show you all the badges on the next screen, including the same trophy scores it just showed you.

Then it tallies your scores twice as well, you get the first one which you can fast forward by holding in the thumb stick (which, why is it the worst button to hold down!?) but it's barely faster and still takes forever, and you also have to sit and wait for it to take a picture. And do that twice after every level if you got all the orbs. You can skip some of those things, but it only lets you start skipping after a couple of seconds and then you have to hold down the button for a couple seconds which is almost as long as the animation itself, and then you still have to watch the ending bit of the animation. The downtime is probably of the most frustrating parts to me. /r/GamePhysics - Clips of game physics shining and glitchingĭesign based on /r/FlatBlue created by /u/creesch./r/gaming4gamers - middle ground between purely-for-fun and more serious subreddits./r/GamingLeaksAndRumours - Leaks and Rumors.Posting unmarked spoilers will result in removal and warning, and posting spoilers with malicious intent will result in a ban.
